A collection of copper engraved views of England and Scotland James from Beverell's "Les Delices de la Grande Bretagne" published by Pieter van der Aa in Leiden.
Pieter van der Aa was born in Leyden in the Netherlands in 1659. At the age of nine he was apprenticed to a bookseller and by the age of 21 he had established his own book publishing business. Although much of his work is copied from other mapmakers and printsellers his work is greatly admired an collected.
